So, turns out that Ben & Jerry’s do more than make our asses fat and our stomachs pleased. They also do nice things like joining up with the OzHarvest charity, to bring you events like the Ben & Jerry’s Openair Cinemas, Sundae Sessions.
All ticket proceeds from ‘Sundae Sessions’ benefit OzHarvest, a not for profit that collects excess food and delivers it to the needy.
The first Sundae Session kicked off on October 21, and they’ll continue every Sunday until November 25. Along with the movie, there will be live music from local bands, as well as (of course) plenty of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream to enjoy. There’s also a licensed bar for those imbibers.
Check out http://openaircinemas.com.au/ for a full program guide. And save me some Chunky Monkey.
