I so agree. This ice-cream is literally “iced cream.” I remember my first Mövenpick experience. It was in Leicester Square in London — many, many years ago. They had a massive store there (the only one I saw in the UK). It captivated this young pup at the time. Given my youth back then, I was able to eat practically anything, but I did realise how rich this ice-cream was. If I were to eat this again, it would just be a simple quenelle on the side for me!

I have no idea why the author of this comprehensive “review” wants to compare this multi purpose venue to a pair of shoes !

I think the writter has tried a little too hard with their analogies.

I frequent this place regularly and it does well in representing all areas, there is nothing confusing about offering choice !

Oh and the crappy photos posted on the site do no justice to the food on offer.
You should see the que for tables at lunch !

Well done to them, they have started the revival of this end of town, been boring for years.

Most rolls are $2 with varities like soft shell crab around $2.80. There is a new store in mccarther central and the wait is never longer than 5-10 mins.

Love LR Sushi, but I would clarify that all the rolls are $2.00 each not $2.80 which makes them on the very inexpensive side. If you get there early enough – around 11.30am there is no queue!

I’ll be interested to try this place today. I’d given up on Yum Cha in Brisbane, I have to say (and that’s before I’ve even tried most places!). Apparently the “best” Yum Cha to be had (in Brisbane) is at King of Kings in the Valley, but I was far from impressed.
